Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Watching the football. Contemplating a wine. Or a gin. Can’t decide.

I thought the bulb in our kitchen lamp had gone but switching it on and off a couple of times seems to have resurrected it bolt

There'll be more hugs tomorrow if you want :)

Seal by the canister had gone, don't know if it blew back or a gust of wind but it blew up, OK, not a bang blew up but enough for flames everywhere, singed the grass a bit, worried the children and I was quite scared. 6ltrs of water over it meant I could then disconnect the canister. Needless to say the stove is in the bin.

That's like our stove. Scary.
I cant find my garmin charger.

Also we messed up the milk order and sent 4 pints of semi skimmed to the people who bought our house. Then we had to email the estate agent to let them know we are not strange milk trolls!

Our neighbours lent me their stove which looked almost exactly the same, it was silent before lighting, something which I now realise was a bad noise (ours was not silent)

I’m sure they’ll appreciate the milk. When we moved into this house the previous owner left without paying the milk bill much to the milkman’s disgust. He got a lot more custom out of us over the years though.

Our neighbour has put our bin out for us. Not sure if I'm pleased or frightened I've moved to Stepford. Apparently our 3 houses are their own little mini community.......

Watching I Love 1987. It’s a bit old, the talking heads look old fashioned (and too many are dead). I’ve always had a bit of a thing for Fi Glover.

Went to airport. Came back from airport.

I had quite a few strawberries this year and more are ripening.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
