Harmony is restored. He made me tea and filled me a hot water bottle. That and the huge slice of carrot cake with a side of 2 paracetamol for my banging head has sorted me.
Bedtime now.
We're going to view a house in the morning so we have to stay together.

Morning, tea time. I think it may be raining a bit outside.
I saw the woman from a nearby hotel taking her dog (Alsatian/GS) for a walk, she was driving her car with the boot open and the dog runs behind. I bet she doesn't get out and pick up the poo.

Morning all. Exhausted from the mental stress of hosting my mother's 96th birthday lunch. Still, she seemed to enjoy it, though her turning up in the living room minus trousers and knickers after a visit to the loo was a bit of a moment.

Oh dear Latterly! Loling at Dave’s pizza My kids think that pasta is a meal (nothing on it, not even oil). If pushed, ds1 will put frozen peas and sweet corn in the saucepan too Muesli. Getting seasick watching the webcam. Tennis should be interesting...

Boiled macaroni was my favourite meal for a while as a child. I couldn't let that be my dinner, though. It wasn't a meal, it was "nothing but starch". I could only have macaroni for my tea if I had it with chips.
All the hand-wringers about childhood obesity should start recommending macaroni and chips, for you could have put me through the eye of a needle at that age.
