Morning, at desk with coffee. No Trainmageddon here but computermageddon instead after I plugged a UPS in and tripped the circuit.

I always think it’s weird when they ‘advise people not to travel’. Like anyone wakes up on a Monday morning and thinks ‘I don’t NEED to travel on a Southwest train today, but I think I will.’

If you've got a Day to get on with, it's probably advisable not to go back to bed.

Waiting for the breadmaker to finish, so that I can have some lunch.

Hastings was the first half-marathon I ever did. It was very well supported, had a pipe band near the start, and at least one more band en route. It has a Long Hill; but the final mile or so is along the sea front, nice and flat with a cooling breeze.

I have replaced the batteries in the TV remote.

The old ones were flat, so it wasn't working.
