V'rap, they're great. I think I could pop some in at the front of our back lawn. The patio wall seems to have made it extra wet, so it might suit them now.....

Ah, that’s a possibility. There are daffodils in the same area which (amazingly) keep going despite the wetness so it doesn’t get mown until the daffodil leaves start to die, but maybe that’s still too soon.

The groundsman at a client just doesn't understand we planted hundreds of frittillaries and he isn't to cut the grass. He thinks they are "wild grass" so keeps getting rid of them 🙄🙄🙄

We're more than happy not to mow until they've disappeared. We keep our lawns a bit wild anyway.

Still, in his defence, daffodil leaves are a lot easier to spot in long grass than fritillary leaves.
