I have spent the weekend cleaning and treating two decks, and sanding and treating some garden furniture - which i haven't quite finished.
It looks good, but its a real pain in the arse to do, at least i had good weather and its done now
I have done no training for over a week now

I dug out a lot of pervasive weeds and transplanted some stray raspberry canes to the now cleared patch as I want to put something (I think it is a winter honeysuckle but I'm not sure - it did flower when it was -15C which was quite impressive) in their spot. The rasps don't look very happy though.

I don't think you can. I had the same problem with my sweet peas last year. They traveled vast distances to climb up a not-especially-nearby clematis instead

My Himalayan Poppies came into bloom over the weekend. Such a gorgeous vibrant shade of blue, I've been growing them on from one plant I bought a few years ago and feel very proud of them. No doubt the wind will have blown their lovely petals off by tomorrow
