HOD running is like Quazimodo on speed.

HoD, I started re-reading the Chi book and gave up. What a load of BS! The book is free to a good home.

I think the bit that wrangled the most was that by running Chi-like you didn't need to train and would easily run a sub-3 marathon. I may have paraphrased what DD actually said, but you should get where I'm coming from!!!! ;-)

Glenn, some athletes that actually win stuff have a running style that appears to be spider-on-speed like. I think that biomechanics is far more complex and subtle than meets the eye.

-o0o-, I'm annoying HOD, not making a serious comment about running style. ;)

I don't believe in the theory behind the "falling" methods of running but I think SSLHP already knows this from our interactions elsewhere.

Form is something I'm constantly mindful of and feel makes a difference.

A lot of the form stuff I read is about sprinting and last year I bought this book:

The Mechanics of Sprinting and Hurdling: 2015 Edition amazon.co.uk
