officebased - what would be your plan for MK? If you planned a nice steady enjoy the day plod then I;d say given another week you should be recovered enough. On the other hand if you planned a blast round PB then if your legs are still aching now then it might be best not to run? I;m having the same sort of deliberations. Legs not too bad after marathon last week but if I run I want to go for a PB and I'm not sure they've recovered enough for a PB attempt.

Cheers jovi, most of my marathons are plods. Will see on sun what they are like. Want to do it but don't want a dnf as my wife is pregnant and this is my last marathon for a yr so important I get one last race in , but don't want to end in disappointment. Oh I hate these decisions

Milton Keynes is the 3rd part of a marathon triple for me so I'd be delighted to get anywhere near a 4.15 FR
