Just entered this, Run London got a PB last 7k was awful so will attempt to get a good for age at Milton Keynes. Noticed is an ASDA and IKEA near by, can we park there?

I'm starting to look forward for this even though after last year I said never again. I live 30 miles from MK and today we have had thunder and hail stones....worrying!!

Are there anymore carparking spots at Fox Towers? I'm still humming an haaing about this. The weather at Thessaloniki marathon last weekend was so hot felt I just didnt get the time I feel I can do so am seriously considering doing MK to give it another go.

There is an Ikea & ASDA but they will only give you 2 hours the denbigh trading estates either side of the stadium are used by many on match days.
Our 2 spots at the Towers are full but there's still some parking in Ashland.

How has training gone for people and have you entered the taper madness period? Indifferent training for me where Ive lost two weeks ( a week at a time) due to illness but my mileage has been highish but until this week didn't feel my mile times were very good. A good shorter run yesterday and a quickish double 5K this morning and I'm feeling a bit more positive. Hit that taper madness point where dont feel like im doing enough and keep thinking of the race. What time do I go for is always the one that I struggle with for the week before. But saying that looking forward to it and hopefully good weather for running.
