Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Bell makes no difference to Henky - he can still catch wildlife! He's caught a few grey squirrels as well... The last one was a couple of months ago - OH came downstairs to find Henky lying on his mat, and blood all over the kitchen floor. He panicked that cat was bleeding - he was fine. OH then crept into the kitchen, to find a little grey leg poking round the table leg....

ours is a terror to the wildlife too. on her way into the house she has to negotiate two catflaps, one into the utility room, the next into the kitchen. Last week the cat took to sitting in the utility room which we thought a bit odd but didn't over think it. Until Mr H went to grab a cloth out of the mop bucket when he was cleaning the car, and a little mouse popped up, jumped out and hid behind a cupboard. It took us two days to coax it out and set it free. I went to get the mop head from the bucket today to find it chewed to bits and covered in mouse poo

The only upside of Oreo bringing in his creatures is, I know more about what wildlife inhabits our garden. I know we have mice, shrews and field voles.

Ours bring them home too, but we are pretty convinced that neither of them could catch a cold, so they probably found them dead already.

Ours aren't a danger to wildlife. Yet. We have two 6 month old rescue cats who are terrorising any leaves lying around in the garden and bringing them in through the cat flap.

Hello asceoy. I haven't seen you before *waves*. My friend's rescue kitten went outside for the first time on Saturday. I don't think she liked it much as she was out for about three minutes but was very excited to bring in a stick when she came back.
