Hello cat lovers... here's a question (which may have been asked, but I don't want to read 193 pages of cat-related posts to find out!)...
We have just moved to a new home that has a garden (yay!!). Somewhere in our neighbourhood, someone owns a cat or cats...I've seen two different ones so far. I don't want those cats, or their crap, in my garden. How do I keep them out and / or get the owners to clear up their cat poo and / or return the poo to them if they won't do it?
It's a sensitive subject as you love your pets a lot, but don't / can't confine them to your own property...
Help! I know Pootle is also having a similar issue...

A terrier, shotgun etc...... seriously you can get a spray that is supposed to put pussycats off, however you have moved into their territory and pussycats do like their own space to be lord of the mannor.

So far, not very helpful! And anyway, Timaru, shouldn't you be asleep if Timaru is really where you are?
I have quite a lot of friends that live in Timaru (as an aside).

Do you think the owners of the cats would pay for the spray? I don't want to have to pay to keep someone else's pet out of my garden.

Lion dung from the local zoo along the fence lines will make them think a very big cat has moved in...

I just accept it. All kinds of animals poo on my allotment; cats, birds, hedgehogs, foxes, rodents etc. Some animals can be contained and some can't.

Not an option... unless they're happy that my husband poos in their garden in return... he likes to do it al fresco

Maybe if your hubby wees against the fence, all around, that will put them off? After all tom cats spray to mark their territory?
