Try Lush Life instead. open.spotify.com Lush Life itself is a bit meandering, but the album as a whole has lots of actual tunes. (Whereas A Love Supreme is deep, deep into the third of Alan Plater's divisions of jazz into "hot, cool and what time does the tune start?")

Coltrane played sax on Kind of Blue. And if you don't like that Nell, my most excellent and valued friend, then you may as well have your ears removed.
