Back with 3x 15. Can't believe its 12 days since I did anyone, but I did spend a week fitting my son's kitchen, then had a great 10 mile race on Sunday. 12-15 were tough on the 3rd set!

3 x 16 today. 3rd set tough again. I'm interested in how long recovery interval you guys leave between sets. I'm currently leaving about 2 or 3 minutes between each of mine, any less & I would strggle to complete the 3rd set.

Haven't joined the group as started on 3x10, currently on 3x43, i normally do 1 set as the shower is warming up, 1 set once i've de robed, and the 3rd set after i have finished the shower, probably too much of a rest between sets for the purist but works for me.

I've been stuck on 3X27/28 for weeks now. I've resorted to working to failure on each set to help overcome this plateau; not sure if it has worked yet. Anyone else got successful plateau busting strategies?

Westley, try throwing in a session with a single big number....60,maybe or even 100,if you can manage.....When you return to the lower numbers ,you will find them easier mentally

Thanks Zorba. Yeah, one all out set to failure might help.

I failed 3 x 17 today. 1st set easy, 2nd set hard, 3rd set only managed 15! Too short recovery I reckon. Try again tomorrow.
