I am sure that's the first time it has sold out since the race returned in 2012.

Is the course likely to be unchanged for 2024, anyone here got inside intel? The website says: "The route for the 2024 adidas Manchester Marathon has yet to be confirmed."

How is everyones' plan going? I reckon race day is 12 weeks today, so hopefully you're all at least embarking on training, or perhaps well into it. Having just had a few days off due to covid I'll be playing catch-up for a while but I did at least manage a decent 20-miler last Sunday before coming down with it, so I'm not starting from scratch.

Did a half marathon distance run in the snow this week (that was fun! an excuse to be a bit slower ) and now onto a cutback week for week 4, so just a 9-miler coming up this next week and then back on it. Happy with pace in general - I'm much faster than I was last time I attempted a marathon.

I have managed a couple of 20 mile runs and took part in a 10 mile race today. I ran at tempo effort for 1.19.58.
