What happens if you defer after you have dropped your bag off?
As I understand it you have previously been able to defer up until Saturday evening. In previous years there have been a number of people that have collected there numbers then not deferred, or raced!
If tracking someone else running then you'll get 5km splits for them. If they also turn on the GPS on their phone, are running with their phone and their battery lasts the duration then you can also track exact location through the app.
Despite carrying my phone with me anyway, I'll stick with the live tracking via my Garmin app as that will save battery by not using the phone GPS. It is a great new feature though.

I wondered that too! Especially those who drop it off Weds or Thurs - there will be a number of people who don't then make it to the start on Sunday morning for various reasons - my worst nightmare being a positive LFT! This scenario concerns me quite a lot!
What are the chances of being able to get my name printed onto my vest at the Expo? I know they’ve had the facility in the past but I can’t see any obvious vendors on the list.
Should still be able to order an iron-on transfer online but I hope I haven’t left it too late!
