I'm in! I'm terrified! My first application for my first marathon - I wasn't expecting success so I'm still getting over the shock.

I got a rejection e-mail. 3 of them. They really wanted to rub it in.
I've had one successful application (2010) in 13 consecutive attempts

I had 2 rejection emails! Last time I ran it was 2005, don't think I've got in since.

I think I’ve had 16, possibly even 17 consecutive attempts. Just checked, and I was successful 5 times. Blimey.
Nothing since 2015 when the internet window went massive though

Husbando is on the front of the 'You're In' magazine (in the KCM top with the taped knee) but he got a 'Sorry' magazine in the post.
I have GFA this year, but have Boston 6 days beforehand.

I think I’ve got in by pretty much every method except the ballot:
- one year working for a company that got some entries from Mars - one club ballot place for ballot rejects - GFA twice (against expectations!) - two Gold Bond places.
So I can’t really complain about never getting a ballot place.

Mrs B, that's great! I did Boston 6 and then London 6 days later in 2009. You can do it! 😉
