I can strongly recommend the Sturdy by Design winter weight leggings for comfort, though they suffer from the absence of leg pockets.

No medal/tee here yet EP. I had to submit secondary info though so I may be at the back of the queue. My OH and a fellow Virtual London runner mate Matt are posties, I've got them on alert for suspicious packages! Will update if I hear of any

gotta love a postie!
Most of my kit is Sainsburys or Decathlon cheap and cheerful but I do love the vibrant styles

I expect to be very late getting my medal and tee because I'm going away for a week from tomorrow.
I've had a flurry of people at work who saw my finish photo congratulating me on being first and asking what the race was One of my colleagues must have made an assumption and started a Chinese whisper.

I didn't win my race, I came second to 2007 Actual London Me by 42 seconds
Nobody's interested in my running at work, which is as it should be and which also means I can allow people to assume I'm better than I actually am without telling any lies. The only problem is that it's West Cumbria so everyone knows someone who knows the truth.

Warning: brag post, (kind of)! I don't like to talk about it ( :D ), but I won a marathon once. It was one of the Enigma ones around a lake in Milton Keynes so a bit of important context is that everyone else was on day 5 of 7 and knackered, it was a tiny field of about 30, and I was fresh that day. I nearly lost the lead though as I thought I'd lapped everyone but there was someone there who I hadn't spotted catching me up in the final couple of laps as I was flagging (at the start of the last lap, Foxy said something like "you'd better get a move on", or words to that effect....). It was 17 laps and I went into the lead on something like the 7th lap, and it was a very strange feeling for someone who is nowhere near the sharp end. I was reluctant to take the lead for some reason but once I was there I realised I'd never be in that situation again so wanted to try and keep hold of it if possible. There are not many marathons that have a winner with a time of 3:44 and in the end I only won by 39-seconds, but still! Ahh, the pre-lockdown memories.....
