Exmouth - I don't know anything specifically about there, but my local boxing day race that's been happening for 50? 60? years still goes ahead in spite of / helped by, multiple local parkruns including Christmas day.

A couple of years ago when boxing day was on Saturday we had parkrun at 9 and races at 11 in the same park, parkrun numbers were lower than usual, the 2 events conferred beforehand and parkrun considered cancelling, but the numbers were still strong at the races, so I'd be surprised if your parkrun makes any difference - people have 3 days to get over parkrun before racing on boxing day!

Hunkyteddy I'm planning on Exmouth on the 30th December. I usually wear my Fetch hoodie and buff at parkrun so if you're there do say hello!

Has anyone mentioned a new Z coming to parkrunland? Zillmere (A suburb just to the north of Brisbane) is launching on 20th January.

As mentioned earlier, the second prison parkrun is starting at Magilligan in Derry on Jan 6 - people here trying to work out how they'll get to run it - what are they willing to do, etc

There may be an inaugural parkrun happening near you. Best to check with the local parkrun volunteers to see if they want you to know about it or not.

Otherwise there are plenty of already established parkruns to go to in the UK and abroad, see: parkrun.org.uk
