Loughborough parkrun is one of those mythical creatures, like the Yeti.
Every once in a while a hint, or rumour appears; a post on a website, a comment in a discussion, a possible sighting of the elusive beast, a move from one planned location to another.
Then for a while, nothing new surfaces - you can search all you like, but it somehow evades you and just fades back into the surroundings.
Suddenly - a new sighting, a new story, a new rumour - is it real, is it all just local stories and hoax.
Will we ever get to the bottom of the mystery of the parkrun of Loughborough?

A confident "yes" WildeRover. Things are moving but not yet at a stage where announcements can be made.

I'd heard that Loughborough had a problem with safety due to the large black feline-type creatures (some people think they are escaped panthers) sometimes spotted around the potential course.

Shepshed United play at Butthole Lane. That's not relevant but it makes me giggle childishly

I'm inclined to believe becca7 as being the Loughborough oracle, as opposed to the troll who appears on here intermittently stirring things up.

Thanks- I spent ages uploading photos and race results so as to not appear like a troll.
