I don’t have Facebook on my phone so can’t see what this is but this might work for you: m.facebook.com But I get the impression you want to connect with others during a class, in which case you might want to find a decent instructor who does similar stuff to Les Mills classes and join them live. Which classes do you like? I used to enjoy Combat, and yesterday I did a Combat rebound video on YouTube and got a great workout, might see if any other teachers are doing something similar live, though rebound is a little niche. Great workout though, best bit of exercise kit I bought! |

I used to subscribe to Les Mills Online and really enjoyed it. You can get a free trial month, or at least this used to be available. It’s not live but you choose from a large selection of videos, updated with new material. As the instructors are the master instructors, ie those developing the programs, instruction is excellent. They have Body Combat, Balance, Pump, Attack and Step plus Grit and several other programs. I’m tempted if we’re told to stop running, and maybe even if we are!

My gym: crossfitchichester.com They send out an invite link to the Zoom classes via the WhatsApp group. It seems to be the small independent gyms and PTs around here doing stuff online so it might be worth looking around your local Facebook groups? |

Some are live but most are ones they have already done and then leave them there. I actual prefer them to going into a live one yo be honest.

CK2, but I can get that for free, can't I? I just googled Les Mills on You Tube last night and plenty full 1 hour videos came up. So yeah, looking for live and interactive if poss. I haven't got weights at home, but I've got some bands and you can simulate many of the movements even of weights with them. Right, a few things to look at. Fleecy, thanks for those. Body pump is only Les Mills class I do now, but I also do Pilates at gym or Yoga, if there is a gentle one. I have tried LM Body Attack, Combat, Balance etc. all in the past and given that we all do lots of cardio with running, it's the strength and stretch that I'm looking for. Balance was too hard for me, hence Pilates or yoga suit me better. I've been doing Body pump since 2001/2, so longer than some of the instructors and certainly participants have been alive! G |

And LG, thanks for the Pure Gym link. Just had a look at Body Tone, and a full 30 min class seems to be on Insta website, no need to login or join?! Free suits me, as a Buchan loon! Thanks guys. G |

Think you’d struggle to do Body Pump with no weights at home! I think you might be best finding a decent local Pilates instructor who does stuff online via Zoom and does PAYG. My instructor charges £25 a month for about 10 classes a week but I don’t do them all, but you might want to support someone local and make connections that way ready for real life mingling if lockdown ever ends. My Zumba instructor also does Zoomba, HIIT and yoga classes and she does PAYG but I have enough classes already!

Also: free is great if you can’t afford it, but there is definite accountability about committing both calendar time and a bit of cash to an instructor and regular group. I live exercising but if I miss one of the Live classes I don’t usually catch up!
