A tad chilly in the frozen North of England, and yet, I went on my club run without leggings. I once went right through to January with leggings, but that was down in the South. I am going to try and last for as long as I can WITHOUT leggings, have you succumbed to leggings this winter?

No!
I always think that once you start wearing them, they stay on until spring whatever the weather is doing.

I have a track session tonight, which starts later than our normal run and does sometimes involve a bit of standing around. I have thought about leggings, but I will keep the flesh bared a tad longer yet.
I will pack my hat and gloves though ;-)

No (and not because I am not running at the moment). I have a pair of leggings I've owned for about 8 years and it's only been cold enough to wear them 3 times in that period, twice when it was sub-zero and icy, and once during a blizzard.

I don't think I wore them once last winter! However, certainly contemplating them this week...

I remember that one very cold winter a while back where we had lots of snow and I was cold even with leggings, and I ended up getting a pair of thermal shorts to wear underneath to keep my bum warm :)

I have for the last couple of weeks, been very chilly here in NE Scotland. Had to wear gloves last night too.

Once it reaches 5°C, I'll wear them. Once it hits 6°C I'll stop, so I'm in & out of leggings all winter. But I haven't had to wear them yet this season in balmy Somerset.

That's very accurate, what if it's 5 and windy?

I keep thinking I'll be getting them out the last couple of weeks but it's stayed so warm. I may be getting them out tomorrow, though maybe not the fleecy ones just yet. I think it's important to keep my calves warm once it gets cold as I am prone to suffer from "calves".
