Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

macca - we're so friendly you won't even notice the officialdom, except for at the start when you'll get to hear about the course.
It goes up here to the hedge, turn right and head down to the gate, then turn left on to the path that goes all the way around the golf course. Do a lap and a bit, turn left through the gap in the hedge and do your sprint finish. The finish line is the same as the start line.

is it really signposted from all over Leam and is it obvious where to park? I'll be coming from the M69, past Warwick uni exit and then the turm off to Leam (is it the A452?? - something like that anyway).

macca - head for Leamington town centre and then you need to find brown signs for Newbold Comyn. The entrance is off the Willes Road which you should get to if you follow signs for Southam from the town centre. If you get stuck, anybody you ask should know where Newbold Comyn is.
Once you get there, drive past the swimming pool on the right and a pub on your left, follow the road until you can go no further and then turn left into a car park. From the car park, you need to walk along the road you had been driving along towards a brick-built pavillion in the middle of some football pitches - that's race HQ and the start and finish point.

I can make the first part of those instructions easier.

Assuming you come into town on the Kenilworth road (the one from the A46):

Enter town and cross three sets of traffic lights (one junction and two crossings). At the end of the road go left on the mini roundabout. Pass a crossing and at the traffic lights turn right. In 50 yards turn left at the traffic lights into willes road. Follow round a right hand bend, pass a crossing then turn left at lights (sp Newbold Comyn) onto Newbold Terrace East. Follow to terminal carpark, park and follow the stream of runners to the pavillion.

Honest.
