Porte and Aru almost exactly the same time! Joint second.
Mollema is not having a good day.

Froome has put on a masterclass in pacing it seems.

I'm looking forward to watching it later. Looking at the classifications I'd imagine most peoples focus will change to the race for the other podium spots, with less than 70secs separating Mollema in 2nd and Porte in 6th.

What's the deal with bonus seconds? We seemed to have quite a few of them in earlier stages. If they still apply to the later ones they could play a part given the small margins between places.

I have a feeling they will let the breakaways go. Froome has no need for big gestures now, it's won barring a major catastrophe. Sky won't want to have to work any harder than necessary. BMC might try and employ Van Gardaren as super domestique but my feeling is he's blown. The question is really can Yates hold the podium. His best bet instead of defending is maybe to attack Mollema who is now looking very vulnerable.

So the breaks go and take any bonus seconds, so its all down to the gaps people can create on the road.
I know Nibali won by a long way but his rivals crashed out. This has been a dismantling.

Yep - 10 seconds, 6 seconds and 4 I think it is. Porte's puncture is what has stopped it being more competitive. Who'd have thought Porte's jours sans wasn't down to him, but to a puncture.

Leggy - Navarro would rest today, nothing to race for.
