Matthews is surely going to be next to useless, don't know much about the BMC duo.
Katusha joining in the fun for Purito, who also showed well yesterday. Astana, BMC and Katusha should want to make it hard as if they kill Mollema, Quintana and Yates legs today, the effect will likely carry over to tomorrow.

Just caught up on yesterday,s live recorded stage. Froomey took a faceful of spit from young scrote, barely in his teens, just on the first k or so of the first climb. If he was my son doing that retribution would be swift.
Great stage yesterday, Froome was magnificent. Poor recce by some in the first group when they misjudged the s bend near the end and off tgey went. Fortunately no injuries by he look of it.
Funny start today, can see Astanas intention but smacks if desperation imo.

Yates detached after a mechanical, Ag2r and Astana sped up to increase the break. He's back but only just and had to burn through Plaza and Albasini to get back there. Impey still there tho.

Matthews shelled out of the break with Martin, so maybe Matthews will be some use. Burghardt and Moinard for Porte. Teejay is with the autobus today.
