I think that was a genuine surprise for Froome that he might be in yellow.
How about Froome, Martin and Yates for top 3 in Paris. Flat TTs only could not happen but with a mountain TT and that 3rd week might it come to pass. Probably not but crossing fjngers for that and in any order.

Both his tour wins Quintana beat him in the third week and they weren't as hard as this Tour. This is acknowledged by Sky and Froome and they've changed their approach to this season because of this so this isn't just from my observation.

I know they had changed to keep him strong in week three, but a lot of that is because this year is back loaded with the difficulty.
I know he has faded a little past tours, but I also think he only does what is necessary, so I don't take much heed of that stat with Quintana beating him after the winds the other year.

So my fantasy team has been exposed by the first two days in the mountains, ironically my KOM team is doing very well.

Has it ever happened before where UK licence holders have 3 of the 4 jerseys available at the Tour at any time during the event, or any other GT for that matter. Special times.
Good itv highlights show, worth watching for Froomey,s impersonation of Bouhani and Cav looking quite hyper while being interviewed by Rendell.
Great to watch with my son and grandsons, both grandsons want FDJ kit as they like the colour, could be expensive holiday in France next year for Tour 2017...
