Cavtastic, never tired of writing that.
Great to see Dan Mclay get a podium finish too.Out all day so only caught itv highlights. Good interview with Aldag and post stage with McLay although Dan looked a bit in awe at the microphones and phones recording his views.
Like Meglet I think that Cav must be torn between Olympic prep and riding the wave of form that he currently enjoys. Hang in there Cav

SPR is right, six stages and we still have 198 riders in the race. Is that a record? There has been the odd crash or two but nothing like the dramatic pile-ups we've had in the past few years.

How different from 2014 when the main contenders dropped like flies!
Fantastic that there's been so few crashes and issues. Especially with all the motorbike issues earlier in the year.
I wonder if the return to a more traditional first week has helped? The last few years have had lots of stages with kicks up at the end, or cobbles, which have meant more jostling for position and GC riders trying not to lose time.
