Looks like some good winter training going on.
I've been consistently inconsistent over the last few months for various reasons. Still struggling a bit to get to 40mpw which for me would be a cutback week. I really need to get my finger out as I would expect some races to go ahead this year.

I must be late in the day to book accommodation for the lakes on the weekend of the race. There's very little availability left dependent on what your looking for. I'm a diva for a hot tub though

I haven't got around to booking anything either, had enough trouble trying to find somewhere for the Consiton Lakeland Trails in June.
Think I'll stick to camping, but maybe ought to book a pitch somewhere for a night on either side of the site campsite being open...

STOOSH, the prices of what’s available are probably quite high too.
Instead of a hot tub would a warm
bath and indigestion be a replacement?

Haha Dave, that would be an option !
We've booked for a week just like last year on the basis if the race gets cancelled then at least we have a break away from the house!
In saying that, I'd really like the race to go ahead as with having 2 under 2yrs I can't justify another year of long days away from the family to train.

I've given in and booked a no-prepayment room at the Black Bull for the Sunday Night, I'll camp onsite beforehand - as I won't sleep anyway it doesn't matter where I am. If the weather is nice and I can still move I can find somewhere to camp for a few more days afterward. Figured I might want a proper bed on Sunday night!
