I looked at it a while ago and got as far as downloading an application form, but my sewing really isn't good enough and I don't have the range of experience with different styles and fabrics to really give it a go Maybe in a year or two if I keep sewing at my current rate! |

Meanwhile I spotted this vam.ac.uk I'll be getting started just as soon as Girl gets home from Uni (in about 45 minutes) and goes with me to choose herself some fabric

Cyclops - I initially thought I was too old, then decided a slightly longer hem and worn with leggings would work, so I'll probably make myself one eventually. I'll practise on the daughter's first though!

My sister is using me as a guinea pig for this: I pay for the pattern and fabric; she makes it up and sorts out fitting - then makes one for herself! Win-win. I hadn't really thought about 'a bit longer and with leggings' but that would be a good idea I look forward to seeing yours, HB.

First prototype will be plain black. Final version will be in something bright for a wedding. I have my eye on a purple and green leaf print minervacrafts.com |
