It was probably my best paddle yet. I practically had the lake to myself, the weather was warm enough, the mountain views amazing. Watched the weather closing in around the top of the mountain whilst on the lake. Beautiful.

Fetchie Meets was a Good Thing.
It was funny to see how bemused some of the older generation were by the fact that G and I had never actually met IRL prior to Sunday. It certainly wouldn’t have happened in their day! 🤣🤣

I need to do more paddling. Really miss it, when I think about it. Not sure where I lost the twice-DW compleater over the years. My young lass is trying to find an alternative to walking for her Gold DofE expedition. Maybe we should try canoeing and see if she gets on with it.

My niece did a kayaking expedition for her DofE. Can't remember what level it was. I have a vague recollection of it being somewhere 'towards Wales' (her expression) back to Nottingham over a few days.

Great idea AC. Let me know if you want to do paddleboarding too! Good luck to Miss AC with DoE paddling too.
Another paddle pic - canal evening after work and dentist!
