I don't know who that Fetchie is either Nellers.

6km done, very slow but TBH I think I paced it right as I got faster towards the end. Haven't been that far since February last year!

10km is not going to be pleasant.

Nice one SK. Good pacing pays off doesn’t it? Especially in something like 6k when you have to keep going for a long time into the hurt box!

Just finished dry retching in the garden after mine. 23:44.7 and never again!

Good work Nellers!

Ranking-wise the 6km is my best, I've hit the heady heights of the 47th percentile: I'm nearly average!

Perhaps I should have pushed it more...I really meant to take it very very easy indeed. To relieve boredom I did the first 400 of each km at 18spm, then 300 @ 20, 200 @ 22 and 100 @ 24. Figured it's not a bad thing to get used to going slow, it'll get me doing longer rows more readily.

24:40 for me puts me 28th of 72 in my category at present, well pleased with that. Well done SK and Nellers on your 6K's too.

I didn't have a proper look but how did you identify them as a fetchie? I'm sure I could only see names, ages and maybe country?

I'm just going to make sure I can complete my 10K on Sunday. Heading off at a pace way slower than the prediction calculators suggest. Don't think I'll be in a good state 🙃

Rog: The honorboard also shows "affiliation" where one is logged, and we've done a few of the team challenges in the past as "Fetcheveryone Rowers".

Nice result there too Rog, and I think your 10k plan is spot on. Go off slow and try to build through it.

We have a Fetch team on the C2 site. I appear to be the captain so can add anyone who’s interested.

Cheers Nellers - looked at it on my pc today rather than my phone and it's quite obvious really :D

I'd quite like to be part of the team please SK. Although I am thinking that once the gyms reopen I might see if I can round up enough people to set up a local one. I'm guessing you can change your affiliation?

Looking at my Heptathlon stats so far I just realised that I set up the PM for a 1000m cooldown piece after my 6000 yesterday, forgetting that it was an event so it has been counted. I'm hoping when I do the effort, and improve my time, they will use that
