So about time we brought back to life this thread. Lammo,Alice,GM how the devil are you all doing? I am plodding along this heat does not help me at all as too hot to eat so then I snack not good. Also water I bought a large bottle 2 litres, so I know I get 2 litres water a day. BUT I think I need less water than that as my tum swells and I feel very uncomfortable so aiming for 1.5 litres. One size does not fit all. |

Helloooo again Wp You know your body better than anyone so do what suits you. After falling off big time during June and July, adding a *few* kg to my already hefty collection, since Monday I've been focussed and on plan. I'm not calorie counting for a while, working on "intuitive eating" and applying all I know to see if I can get away from needing to weigh everything (including me) on a daily basis. I weighed at the gym on the In Body scanner on Monday and that is my benchmark. During August, I am looking to lose a couple of kg and increase my muscle mass. I'm back at the gym regularly and have a plan I enjoy following. With a few long beach walks each week and an occasional run and bike ride, I have all the ingredients to succeed. |

I don't tend to measure how much water I drink. 2 litres seems quite a lot though, wp. Sounds like you have a good plan, GM. I've got my weight down to the 60kg mark over the past couple of weeks. It'll be interesting to see if I can maintain at this weight. |

Great to hear from you GM That all sounds good I just think we get diet fatigue and need a break from it all.But really good to see you back doing what makes you happy. Due to illness I missed a gym session with PT so have to do it today which will be a shock to system two session in a week.I missed all of July training wise with Covid but coming out the other side of it finally- so 9 weeks for my half so next week I would like to back in training!! or I may need to rethink if I go ahead or not. |

Ness you snuck in whilst typing.I never measured before just assumed I drank 2 litres. But I drink 800ml protein drink which is made with water and 2 coffees a day just coffee and water. I think I will adjust to 1 litre and see how I get on. Great news on a stable happy weight .I hope you can maintain it |

Thought it was a x-post, @Welshpoppy Thanks and yes, 1 litre per day is probably about the amount I have. |

The hydration side is what I'm working on this week. I'm advised to drink 2.5 litres to 3 litres each day. If I include tea, coffee and milk on cereal, I can just about get there but not pure water each day.

Morning all, sounds like resilience is the subject for the last few weeks, well done. I've had a rubbish week, fell off my bike on Saturday and have a double fracture around my right elbow joint, yes i am right handed, and now have a stinking cold. Drinking lots of water though |
