My son has a Band 2 Pro. Good as far as it goes, but the absence of being able to extract gpx files, sync with services like strava (or Fetch), means I couldn't recommend one to anyone else. It's core functions work OK, but there's a daft thing that means that GPS activities can't be started at the push of a button - it tries to get a signal, then counts down 3-2-1-go, so requires clever timing to help be used in a parkrun etc.

But that's just that one device. Others in their range might be OK.

Personally if money is a constraint, I'd head over to ebay for a garmin bargain. I bought 2 x Vivoactive (old models) for £20 each in perfect condition, and a Vivosmart HR+ brand new in box for £37 just around Christmas. I trust those devices!

I am currently using a Band 3 Huawei which cost about £25. I suspect they have more sophisticated models but compared to my Garmin Forerunner 15 I certainly wouldn't recommend it. I was interested in the sleep monitoring function but it has recorded two hours of 'light sleeping' when I was actually making regular trips up and down the stairs in those two hours to let the dog out in the garden and settle her again so I know I definitely wasn't light sleeping at that time!
