A predawn 5k effort before work , it’s been awhile as I’ve been doing early callisthenics and then run later

Work rota changed so instead of a 7 mile run to work I did a 10 mile medium long run. Nice run and even better having a night off work (not worry about the night I am working now that I wasn’t before) Soon be longest day (father in law’s birthday). Longest day was a big thing when I worked in the Shetlands. This time of year the darkest it would get without cloud cover would be a dusk type sky. 4:04 am 25 may on my run home from work |

Lovely picture riggys, some nice things as well with running in that ungodly hour. ![]() My run was rough today, hot, heavy legs, and not up for it at all, postponed it until I thought I might kill my streak ![]() Before the run I had been out on the lake with my son for a bit of fishing. Which entails getting my heavy ass boat out of the garage, hooked on to the car, drive to the lake, and get it in the water and up out of the water and home and in into the garage again.. Also lugging around all the gear. Good that it’s very nice to hang out with my son, and se how fun he has when fishing ![]() No we didn’t catch anything 🤣 |

A lovely run in and around some local woods. Some of the paths not runabble in places due to vegetation growth but it was a easy run so a little walk doesn’t hurt. Lots of bird song so played with the Merlin bird song ID app which was interesting getting a bird ID I wouldn’t have got otherwise

Bowman 🇸🇪 An unconventional warm up! riggys99 Interesting - I wonder whether the app works in a similar way to the ones that can identify a tune. 10.15pm Cooling ESE breeze, tide well out and firm beaches, after a higher than usual tide around the full moon a couple of days ago. Long peg north along the sand before taking trails over Burbo Bank and turning back at the car park and over the brick & rubble strewn beach. Up slpway and complete a figure-of-eight by trail to Crosby Baths and back to base on cycle path. 61 min. |

First run in a while due to injuries and illness. 5K lunch run. Fairly easy just to get going again. Warm and nice |
