We're on to Italian week at Lidl. Lots of yummy things, but I'm not so fussed about the cheese.
Unless anyone can recommend something.
Obviously I looooove parmesan grated over my pasta like some sort of heathen but otherwise not wild about those hard, squeaky cheeses.

Not a new cheese, but thought it might be of interest...

The Stilton we froze at New Year was defrosted and tasted absolutely fine.

I have some Alpen-Fest Austrian cheese from Lidl in my lunch box, it is very nice but I can't remember the name of it!
Will update when I get home and can read the wrapper...

We are visiting the Cotswolds so I’m looking to see if there are any local cheeses that I’ve not tried yet.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I found The Cotswolds Cheese shop less than half a mile from our caravan site. I bought a small selection to try later

Back for 2023!! You know what to do :)

Inspired by the Christmas Cheese thread and the 50 Fruit and Veg in 2022 thread, how many different types of cheese can you eat in 2022?

I've had a rummage in the fridge and so far I have consumed -

(Valley Spire) Medium Cheddar
(Tesco) Red Leicester
(Tesco) Shropshire Blue
(Shepherds Purse) Harrogate Blue
(Tesco) Neufchatel
(Aldi) Spicy Cheddar
(Aldi) Wensleydale with cranberries
(Milbona) Cream cheese

I make that 8 varieties so far!

I have some more in the fridge to go...
