Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

As Boab says, you'll find that the whw winners and front runners who have also done fling use it as a training tool. That was indeed why the race was born.

It might end up a slow one for me as i've managed to tweak my calf during yesterday's recce!!

I did enjoy running the low road though - much more interesting than the landrover track..

I'm afraid I am out of the Fling this year. I'm just not recovering fast enough from the 100km and I have some plans for the later in the year that I don't want to jeopardise. I'm sad about it, but relieved that I don't have to put my body through it again so soon. I'm carrying a couple of small niggles (new ones) as well, so I need to manage them. Will try to get up though as it looks very exciting at the pointy end.

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me when tickets usually go on sale for the Highland Fling? Hoping to do it...
