Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Enjoying watching the last minute panic and the same questions being asked over on the facebook...

People have been dropping like flies in the last few days as is the case every year from what i've seen but still plenty people for me to bore along the route ;-)
As for the weather - there will be some and i'll take whatever comes and deal with it!!

Happy tapering all - i'm going to trash my legs tonight at the club training session :)

Two 'easy' training runs between now and the 6:10am start at Milngavie.

Fourth time for me and I'm determined not to f*ck it up and be trashed before Bein Glas.

I've still not thought about it :-)

Will throw some kit into a bag tomorrow night and make it up when I get there. This has gone from being a target race to trying to enjoy it, finish, and not be in too much pain. Looking forwards to getting out there and just running.

That's the way I treated it in 2014 flanker... Made for a great day! For me this time it's going to be a good training run with company as most of my long runs have been solo it'll be good to get some banter along with the hard run!!
I see all the drop bags and wonder if they're intending on being on the trails for a week ;-)

Best of luck and maybe bump into you along the way..

This is fourth time and I've never been bothered by midgies, unlike Glen Nevis in the summer

But the forecast for Saturday is looking grand, at both ends. Cold, but not too windy, no snow (falling, at least) and nothing more than light rain showers. Good for me.

The only question is shorts, 3/4s or longs on my legs?

Hi folks. Can anyone tell me when tickets usually go on sale for the Highland Fling? Hoping to do it...
