Great race ruined by organisation cock up
We got one of the official races buses back to the start only to find that they've already locked the official race parking we were told to use, with our car still in it. Not amused in the slightest. Waiting for a taxi back to the hotel and hoping they open the gates again tomorrow!

Fantastic race. A 58 minute PB. Got to be happy with that

Take it all back. Missvivvy just forgot where she left the car and it wasn't in the locked bit lol! All liberated now

STOOSH
haha KinkyS - the scenery must have messed with your head
Bit of a mixed bag for me yesterday, started well then struggled through from Rowardenen to beinglas where i'm normally at my strongest. Pretty much staggered into Beinglas where the godsend which was the chilled Coke seemed to bring my body back from the dead and managed to crack on to the end to grab a 32min pb... Still feel there's plenty more time to come off if i get things 100% on the day!!
Well done to everyone - was a good day for running an ultra

I had Coke in every drop bag - heavenly!
Really enjoyed treating myself to a no pressure day out on the trails after 3 hard road races Possibly the most beautiful views I've ever run through. Part of me wants to go back and race it properly when I'm fit, part of me never wants to go back because it might not ever be so bloomin' perfect ever again.

I ran the last leg as part of the Dumfres Running Club relay team. I have nothing but total respect for those who attempted and finished the race. 'Awesome' is an overused word but fitting in this context.
I really enjoyed my run. Fantastic scenery and the snow topped hills and montains made it extra special.
Would I think of doing the full race? I really don't know.

All these Fetchies and I only spotted missvivvy. It really was an excellent day, good weather (bar a few brief showers and a hailstorm), records smashed all round, good food and drink, good craic, happy runners, happy race team.
You both should. You know you should....
