Possibly see a new course record? I'm expecting at least the top three men to go sub 7, my only query is by how much....

Agree Duchess - sub 7 alone won't get you the win this year....

I won't even get to Bein glas in sub-7, awesome athletes at the sharp end.

Still trying to decide between this and London as the main race. Heart says Fling, head says London and try for GFA.

Given I've still got the 50k and Manchester in my legs it might be academic :-)

I only got to Rowardennan in 6:40, I'm in awe of anyone who can finish the whole race sub 7.

I see there is now an extra time cut off at the A82 crossing to prevent runners finishing in the dark. I totally understand why that is the case but I'm glad it wasn't in place when I ran it in 2014 as I would have been absolutely gutted to be pulled off the course after 50 miles of running with only 3 to go.

On the plus side it does mean I'm likely to retain the second slowest ever finishing time (the slowest was a step behind me) which I'm strangely proud of :-)

All gone a bit quiet here whilst Facebook posts are going wild with plenty instances of taper madness!!

Had pretty much a week off last week due to a calf issue but £30 seems to have sorted that :-o. Back on it this week and knocked out a 20 today and hoping for the same again tomorrow!!
With the numbers out now the tesco polly bags can be recycled into drop bags with a little help from mr selotape ;-)

Facebook group? Must have missed that somewhere along the line!

Numbers are out?

And we're allowed drop bags??

I'm really not very well prepared for this am I?!

can't see me bothering with them. Just another way to lose time and there should be no need on a 50 miler.
