I'm going to wear the same shoes as last year, I think they've nearly dried out.

I have two pairs of old running shoes available for those interested: Saucony Grid Nitrous women's size 8... they are for mild over pronators... The good thing about them is that they have trianmgular lugs on the soles, so quite good grip on difficult terrain without them being trail shoes... to be binned afterwards they have done just under 300 miles on the road, but will still be good for 8 miles of GRIMMMMMMMMMMMM...

Just about removed all of the sand from my trail shoes from last year, so they'll get another run out. Unfortunately, I have no bra details to compare, but I'm happy to give you my opinion, MT ...oops, I hear LL coming!! |

Sorry my lovelies - I can't find the thread for this year's race so I'll post this here! I'll be going for a five miles or so training run this Sunday (11th) on the GRIM land with a colleague who'll be running the GRIM for the first time, so nothing too pacey. Who'd like to join us? Not sure if we're going to be running the puddles yet, we'll see how brave we're feeling on the day. We're looking at something around 9.30 or 10am. |
