How can there be a question over tshirts when they have so many paid up entrants already?! Surely part of setting the entry fee would include provision and budgeting for a t-shirt (or not!). My assumption was that we'd get one, but tbh if it's a generic shapeless unisex thing where the 'small' is anything but, then I'm not bothered. However if they do proper gender-specific sized ones then I would be disappointed not to receive one.

I like their t-shirts and wear them a lot in training. However, I've got 4 of them now. And a "Manchester Legends" one
Got a marathon coming up (York), then a bit of rest before I start training for this one again.

Clare,
The t-shirts have been good in the past. Unisex, but down to xxs and decent design and quality, I'd be disappointed to miss out.

Mine from this year is getting a fair bit of use; neat design and very light on advertising logos. I am generically shapeless as it goes, though, so easy to please on that front.

Thanks K, in that case, I really hope they sort themselves out and commit to it - the entry fee suggests we should get one really. As it's a target race for me, I would defo wear the it afterwards if it's a decent one! The 'small' Brighton one I got in 2016 has never been worn as it's huge

For anybody still considering entering "Guaranteed Early Entries end Wednesday at 23:59"... in all likelihood all that will mean is an increased price from Thursday onwards, however, the inclusion of the word "guaranteed" does indicate an alternative entry method may possibly be adopted.

I got in, only doing this as it is the 3rd route variation since 2012.

snoggard, it will be (at least) the 7th route variation since 2012; although admittedly some changes over the years have been more significant than others.

But hopefully no mountains being introduced?
In all seriousness, having now run the half, I am hoping / assuming that whilst I know the route won't be exactly the same, the nature of the marathon will be / has been / is very similar to the half? In terms of the types of roads, suburbs, level of support, very little undulation etc?

My 4 (2016-19) have apparently been different but I'd be hard pressed to identify the changes without checking on a map!
