Entries are open for 2019.
This mornings email about entries opening included the following line "NB - Those who qualify for the 'Marathon Legends' scheme will be contacted separately." How many of us have done at least four "full" GM marathons?

A not unsurprising very bad run (training issues) from me. But enjoyed the day - ate loads of sweets/chocolate, hi-fived a lot of kiddies, and did my best to smile (will have t wait til the race photos to see if I actually managed the smiling bit).
Massive gripe about t-shirts - you'd think they'd have something smaller than a large or extra large left with still about 1/5th of the runners out there on the course still.
And pot-holes!
But still, a good weekend away all in all

For anybody interested, I've just received a (private) email from Xtra Mile about the "Legends Club"... "This will be a set price (ed. £40 according to the website) for you regardless of time period. I would wait until you get this code. We should be in a position to send out information in a few weeks time".

I actually thought the course was good for pot holes but then I’m in Edinburgh where we occasionally have some actual road

I've done 4, but didn't know about the Legends club until seeing it just this minute.
I've not had an e-mail either, but I might have to contact them as sometimes I enter under Vic and sometimes under Vixx :O

Vixx - as far as I know, the legends club was only setup in the last week or so (although I was told at the end of last year they were planning something). As I said above nobody has heard directly from the organisers yet, so hopefully you’ll be on their list when they do email us.
