Decided not to bother this year due to a combination of illness, niggles and CBAs during the key training months which have left me in a state whereby a quick run (for me) isn't on the cards this time.

So I'll restrict my final pre-race comment to wishing you all well and hoping that the organisers finally get round to delivering the sort of event that you (and all the supporters) deserve. :)

I'll drop by again to catch up on Monday.

Sorry to hear that Andy.

Does anyone know if there is a video of the route somewhere? Would be nice to see where I will be running on Sunday.

Good luck everyone. Given shape I am in would be delighted with 4 hrs. Be just happy to run round where I live with thousands of other people.

I'm in a similar situation Andy, although given the race's proximity I'm running anyway.

Damo here is the live stream of the 2016 race (2hrs30) long. Whilst the course is different this year it should give you the general feel of the route/area.

Just looked at the course, basically it's the less interesting parts ;-) But I guess they wanted to avoid any 'hills'?

Must admit I didn't find the course particularly interesting last year: fast and flat though :-)

I don't think I can sit through 2:30mins, must put in a a player at x50 speed!
