Damo: great long run! 2:45 for a championship start at London.
My last properly long run was today: a 22.8 M slog in 2:57. That's a minute per mile slower than goal marathon pace so I'm reasonably happy considering continuous drizzle, flooded lanes, an undulating course and not being Haile Gebrselassie.
I can wait 'till the post to find my number.

Fetch away kit I expect, unless it's warm & I shift a few more pounds so I can fit in my club vest :-). (both unlikely!)

No idea what I'll be wearing. Depends on weather, but there will at least be a fetch buff visible

I'll wear club vest (Tesco value blue stripes), red shorts and new-ish Adios Boost trainers. I'm often recognised by my grey hair, which doesn't seem particularly striking to me. I'm likely to wear an old sweatshirt or similar that I can throw to the side just before the start

WW - If I don't get down to my goal racing weight, then can I use the excuse that I need the extra weight to keep me warm?
