*covers ears* don't say that Dave, I've been trying not to enter since Sunday; Spanners I may see you there
Some exciting news, from something I saw on Facebook I suspect the GMM route may be changing next year.

Nelly come and join us in Chester
The nominated charity is the BabyGrow Appeal which is to raise money for the unit I work in so we can build a brand new fit for purpose neonatal unit.

Dave - I loved Windermere the year I did it, and last year I did another marathon 3 weeks after GMM, but I'm definitely not doing that this year
sioux - good luck with the fundraising for a very worthy cause. I may well be in Chester, but I'm determined to not make any snap decisions!

Not going to enter anything until after Thunder Run, but Chester is tempting! I don't think it sells out quickly does it?

And I think the GMM would need to change the course if they want to make it bigger, partly to avoid the traffic cone incidents in the first few miles. I quite enjoy the out and back sections though, nice being able to spot people you know, even if they are way ahead of you!
