Great updates and delighted to see mostly positive news. I am chuffed to run 3hr45m which was 6min PB. I held back and ran stronger second half. would never have expected to be able to run negative splits but felt strong at 14miles and did not need to ease off too much. Really enjoyed the day, race and the feeling when i crossed the finish line

Thanks Nelly. Was happy with my time. Nearly caught pacing group again then I needed to walk a bit.

Last year said would never try another. This time out I could really take it all in and definately will try another. Chester springs to mind.

Lovely to meet Plodding Hippo at the start - thank you for the hug. It worked anyway and I went on to run a PB of 4:04:53 (over 32 mins off my previous pb which has stood since 2009!)
