You see "kit bags"? How big a bag can I get away with? Airline carry-on size? |

DG - In 2012 they provided a draw string bag to be used, similar to VLM but slightly smaller, that ultimately contributed to the "great baggage fiasco" of that year as they couldn't easily identify bags that hadn't been "sorted" very well. You'd have struggled to fit an airline carry-on sized bag in that draw string bag, so I'm pretty sure they wouldn't want over 7,000 people turning up with that sized bag, but at the same time it seems to me a reasonable size to expect them to accept from some competitors. SB - The oversized heads weren't there last year (I was in Timperley, where they're going to be this year, supporting last year). |

Toothache means I haven't slept for the last two nights. The words "completely fed up" could have been invented for me but they're not quite sweary enough.

No appointments available today unless I want to go private. I can't afford that so I'm going to have another day of this and get on the phone first thing in the morning.

Rich I hope you get it sorted asap Admittedly a good few years ago now, but when I last had teeth issues and couldn't get to see a dentist I went to an emergency walk-in clinic at the local Dental Hospital. It meant arriving twenty minutes before it opened and spending most of the morning sat around waiting to be seen, but at least I was seen that morning. Is there a similar service anyway near you? Last call for any views on post race rehydration venue. See my previous post towards the top of this page for the options http://www.fetcheveryone.com/viewtopic.php?id=54284&page=96 So far feedback seems to be limited to DG saying "Bishop Blaize looks to be quite small" and Battlecat saying "I was in the spoons last year ... it wasn't ridiculously rammed and we had some seats". On the basis of the proximity to the finish (and therefore is closer to the tram for me afterwards), and that I can blame Battlecat if we can't get any seats, I'm swaying towards Bishop Blaize. |
