I thought the price was reasonable - although apparently it goes up £5 later in the year (perhaps to catch those awaiting the VLM ballot out) so I entered. I'm fully aware that this makes me vulnerable to the big triple weekend bender - Brighton/London/GtrManc - but then, the ballot will reject me anyway so I'm not worried
What sort of numbers are they expecting? I couldn't find it on the website...

I could have sworn I saw 5000 somewhere, but all I can find now is "thousands of runners". Maybe I imagined it...
If I don't do it, I might see about volunteering for it.

Just realised it's the same organisers as several triathlons in the area - Wilmslow, Macclesfield, Leeds etc.

Actually, I was tipsy when I entered London too. Do I have a problem?
I guess there are worse things to do when drunk than enter races. Oh, hang on, I've done many of them too!
Seriously, now I appreciate this is the going rate, I will enter this if my London entry is unsuccessful (otherwise it's the long trip to Brighton)
