Hola! I went through the Big Tunnel on the bike the other day - a real treat if you like big tunnels - otherwise wait for someone else and hold their hand on the way through There were still pretty large puddles just after it, but they were passable and, given out Mediterranean weather, may have dried up by now.
The weather is changing though, due to the Med winds being replaced by our more normal Atlantic winds. So a bit cooler (though still sunny) with a brisk tailwind today, probably rather better for running 56 miles in.
(If it is a really nice day, I might have headed off somewhere (last day to use some cheap train tickets) :-O)

Have a good run everyone. I've done this for the past 2 years and enjoyed it. the big tunnel is fine if a bit dim! Use it as a planned walk break. This year I'm off to Yorkshire for a couple of LDWA events. Sorry I won't be there to see the one and only Ray McCurdy finish his 100th ultra.

Thanks for all the good wishes. Looking forward to it but also nervous How long is the big tunnel? Is it just after the second CP?
