Ok Starx we can swap moby's tomorrow.

hellen don't worry about the place names there is nothing on route to let you know where you are Star Dvorak and I are all local so we if we are at the parts star suggests that is good distances apart for you. I will make sure I've got edibles for you and cold water.

I am on rubbish computer tonight - will look online when at work tomorrow and see where we are in regards to the checkpoints - and you all can let us know roughly what times you reckon you may be there at

We're right where East meets West. So I will be nearer Glasgow, then Star in the middle Then Dvorak nearer Edinburgh.

Just found the cp maps, I was planning to be at cp1, so thats a bit pointless me being there. I will head up the route a few miles.

Hiya - Ok so CP1 is 13.1 miles - I can be at mile 18.80 - you will only be 3.5 miles away from CP2 at this point.

if you can let me know what times you reckon you will be there - I know its fairly early on in the race - but I need to run wee one back and forth to footy.

I will stick any jaffa cakes or mini cheddars in sandwich bags so they can be easily chucked in your race pack for later on. and will have water bottles to top you up.

I'll be at Ratho (ca. 7 miles from finish) until ca. 4.15pm (or a bit later - whenever The Rentboy comes through). Not sure I can bring much food and water as I'll be running myself later on and don't want to carry lots of leftovers with me, but if there's anything in particular that you'd like, do let me know!

I'll be up at 5am to get on a plane (it works for Killian Journet), but will be thinking of you guys running (and supporting). Have a great (if a bit flat) race!

SA are you running Rentboy in?

thanks star, I think I will be averaging about 10mm by that stage, expect I will be running at a bit slower than 9mm but will be having walk breaks so the av will be about 10s I think. So I'm guessing I will be there around 12 ish,

Star, we will all have bottles/bladders so no need to bring us bottles just the water in any container so we can top up.

Any support much appreciated as it is a long way run run. SA and anyone near the end dont be surprised if I cry when I see you (please dont be nice to me). I remmeber seeing a fetchie at about 40 miles in an ultra and had had a hard time getting lost. He asked how I was getting on and how I was and I almost cried!!!! Then in another ultra in Switzerland once I got to the top of the mountain freezing cold, wet and totally spent a marshal was nice to me giving me a plastic coat thing then another told me to get soup and asked how I was, I burst into tear!!!!

Yes, Hellen, plan is to run him in.

What time are you expecting to be at Ratho (sorry, my maths is too poor to work it out based on your pace)? I'll make sure to bring some tissues for you. ;-)
