We seem to have reached the conclusion that women should feel entitled not to have sex with their husbands and the husbands are expected to continue to behave in a gentle caring loving way, with total fidelity.

Glad we got that sorted.

It's an interesting one, though. Let's say the OH declares unilateral withdrawal of rumpo.

Would you carry on as before - leaving aside the question of playing away to fulfill your manly needs every once in a while?

Or would you carry on unscrewing jam jars and putting spiders out the bedroom window and all those other things that only a man can do? I suspect not. Wars have started this way, of course.

Well I can sympathise with the view that spiders need to be put out of the window without the expectation of rumpy as a reward.

It is a bit rubbish to think that women think rumpy is given as a reward rather than a normal part of a loving relationship.

Many of us think no such thing. And I can rescue my own spiders.

Of course, i was just joking. Personally i think gender politics don't belong in a loving relationship - if only because politicking rarely helps to get things done in an amicable manner - but hey, what do i know.
