Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You are on fire KP.

Periods are the pits. I had my first one for nearly 2 years 6 weeks ago, it was awful. Thankfully no sign of another yet. Can't even take any decent painkillers whilst still bf :-(

A good buggy Parkrun today, only 20 seconds off buggy pb with having to practically walk the first lap due to a 750 field :-) They have introduced a new buggy's have to start right at the back rule, whereas before I used to slot in at around 25 minute pace. Safer in my opinion as less overtaking, and therefore risk of clipping people when I start at the right pace. With the new rule I'm spending the first mile weaving in and out of walkers and people with I-pods who can't hear me asking to come through and it's a tad frustrating.

Periods are the pits, I second that. Mine came back relatively soon (9 months I think), been hellish ever since. Mind you I have endo so I guess that's par for the course. Can't say the coil has helped. I'm due to get mine around my marathon date :( (TMI? or does pretty thread rules apply?).

I struggle with the buggy too. I always started at the back but I am as dangerous there for all the reasons you list. It's murder. I often say buggy coming through but IF they hear me then I;m almost passed by the time they turn round. Awkward. Good running though Krissie.

Sending good luck vibes to Jude for tomorrow.

Aloha!
Nice racing at the weekend all.
Well I completed my first Tri for 7 years!
1.29 sprint, happy with that πŸ˜€ wasn't sure what to expect as I've cycled on the road bike all of twice since 2008......
Didn't injure myself, didn't cock up the garmin, managed a grinning showboat to the family over the line πŸ˜€
Again! Again!

It was only a 10 mile bike so not as good as if it was full sprint distance but I'm still super pleased :)

you did fab, Jude!! and well done KP. We also have a start at the back rule at my parkrun and that combined with first mile being downhill and last uphill means that basically I just have to stick with being slow on the way down and only overtaking on the flat and uphill bit which isn't all that much fun...
